The current frontrunner in my quest for the right artwork

This will be my last blog post on the KimSanDiego blog, as I move on to the next phase in my writing career, which I’ll do under my new brand, RotterWrites.

Running this site gave me the opportunity to learn about effective blogging and using WordPress – two skills that will take me to the next level in my writing career.

My new site uses a Thesis template and runs on WordPress. I’m only at the beginning, still developing the look, feel and artwork for the site, and generating content as expeditiously as my 1-yr old will allow. I’m also still in the process of developing and optimizing TonyRotter.com, and I have plans for at least two more sites in the very near future. One, SheWroteIt.com, will be a forum for anecdotes and short stories about life for women behind prison walls. Another, as yet unnamed, will be for fantasy role-play story and character development, and I’ll be posting content on behalf of incarcerated writers who do not have internet access. I’m actively seeking guest writers for both sites.

RotterWrites.com will be, I believe, my most exciting project. Some of the content will appear in six languages other than English, for the benefit of my readers in other countries and cultures. I’ll have a thumbnail-driven portfolio of past work that will showcase some of the projects I’m most proud of. This is also where my own regular blog will reside. I write posts on lifestyle, home improvement, parenting, health and wellness, and subjects of interest to locals in San Diego, among other topics.

As I said, it’s all still a work in progress, but I hope you’ll stop by periodically and take a look, maybe even subscribe! And I welcome all comments and suggestions, on an ongoing basis.

Thanks for taking the time to read.
